Carolyn Fuentes, Assistant Federal Public Defender, will speak at the Aug. 10th luncheon. Topic: "How to Get to the Supreme Court and What to Do When You Get There." She will talk about what the court is looking for when deciding to grant certiorari and how to address the justices' concerns at oral argument. She will use illustrations from recent cases, as well as her own experience successfully arguing a case.
